Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a licensed Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam to treatment delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will educate patients, create and review treatment plans, and maintain records with a focus on quality and ethics. The daily rate ranges from $600 to $750, reflecting compensation for a full-time on-site position in Derry, NH.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B must be documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism.
• Stay current with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
