Job summary

TriplePoint Labs is seeking a Delivery Assurance / Material Expeditor to ensure timely flow of materials and documentation across the manufacturing process. You will act as the nerve center linking customer orders to finished goods, coordinating with production, purchasing, planning, quality, engineering, suppliers, and shipping.

The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing or supply chain, strong Excel and ERP/MRP experience, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production control, expediting, logistics, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and prioritize jobs to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Expedite materials, parts, tooling, and documentation to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and suppliers to resolve shortages and schedule conflicts.
• Contact external suppliers to track critical shipments.
• Host daily/weekly sessions with external suppliers to track performance to established commit dates.
• Track work orders and purchase orders through each stage of production and identify bottlenecks.
• Follow up on overdue purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
• Communicate production status, delays, and recovery plans to management.
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records in ERP/MRP systems.
• Verify that all required documentation, certifications, and inspection records accompany products.
• Assist in scheduling inspections, testing, Shipping, Receiving and inventory management activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve material flow and production efficiency.
