Job summary

Salute is seeking a Vendor Specialist on-site in Barstow, TX to manage vendor relationships for data center services. You will oversee the full vendor lifecycle—from onboarding and KPI tracking to contract renewals and offboarding—and collaborate with Finance, Legal, and site teams to maximize value.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and at least four years of vendor management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, legal studies, finance, or related field.
• Minimum four years of related work experience (preferably in property management, supply chain, accounting, or vendor management).
• Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook; familiar with strategic sourcing processes.
• Must be willing to submit to a full criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of vendor information, including contacts and performance records.
• Track purchase orders and vendor invoicing activity as part of vendor management processes.
• Coordinate with Finance on prebilling confirmations and related inquiries.
• Maintain contract repository and expiration tracker; support contract renewals and terminations.
• Provide analysis to support vendor onboarding and competitive bidding decisions.
• Ensure alignment with Compliance and Legal on contract changes and documentation.
• Collaborate with Account/Finance teams to align payable/receivable with active contracts.
• Assist site team with budgeting and forecasting using trackers and historical data.
• Serve as the central resource for contract procedures and policy changes.
