Reboot Monkey in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time on-site role supporting critical infrastructure. You will install, configure, and maintain servers, perform structured cabling, and manage hardware deployments with on-call rotation and night/weekend differentials where applicable.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills, and excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
