Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team and maintain critical infrastructure in a world-class data center environment.

The role supports server and network equipment, structured cabling, and environmental monitoring with standard business hours and on-call rotation. Minimum 3+ years in data center operations required, plus strong documentation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with structured cabling and power distribution is a plus.
• Certifications in data center domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
