Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks a seasoned Data Center Technician to join our on-site team in Andover, MN. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear, perform structured cabling, and manage hardware deployments in a fast-paced data center environment.

The role requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills, and familiarity with power distribution and UPS systems. On-call rotations and shift differentials may apply; professional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data center operations experience required.
• Experience with server and network equipment installation and maintenance.
• Structured cabling expertise with Cat6/6a and fiber (OM3/OM4/OS2).
• Familiarity with power distribution and UPS systems.
• Strong documentation and asset-tracking skills.
• Vendor and network certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling and rack & stack operations.
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions in data center.
• Monitor power, cooling, and environmental systems.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset records.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Contribute to capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
