Reboot Monkey in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear, perform structured cabling, and monitor critical facilities as part of a collaborative team.

The candidate should have 3+ years in data center operations and strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. On-site schedule with potential on-call rotation and shift differentials when applicable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA) preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
