Job summary

Unisys is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer (OSE) to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next-generation AI infrastructure. This role is hands-on, working in data centers or customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain server hardware.

You will install, replace, and troubleshoot components such as memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, NICs, GPUs, BIOS/firmware, and use management tools like iDRAC.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers
Experience diagnosing and repairing enterprise server hardware
Familiar with rack-mounted enterprise servers and data center environments
Experience with BIOS/firmware, hardware diagnostics
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware
Diagnose and resolve hardware failures to minimize downtime
Perform hardware installation, removal, replacement, and repair (memory, CPUs, PSUs, drives, RAID/HBA, NICs, GPUs)
Server installation, cabling, and component swaps
Document service activities and escalate complex issues when needed
