Job summary

Unisys Corporation seeks an On-Site Service Engineer (OSE) to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and AI infrastructure. You will diagnose, repair, and replace server components in customer environments, including Dell PowerEdge systems.

Strong hardware knowledge and on-site presence are required. Applicants should be comfortable working in customer-facing roles, travel to sites, and performing firmware/BIOS updates with enterprise tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise servers and data center hardware.
• Direct experience repairing, replacing, or upgrading server components on-site.
• Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA, NICs, GPUs.
• Familiar with Linux or similar OS and server management tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform rack-and-stack, installation, cabling, and component swaps.
• Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware, OS, and hardware diagnostics.
• Document service activities and resolutions clearly.
