Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking a Data Center Scheduler to develop, maintain, analyze, and communicate the project schedule for a large-scale data center. This role is embedded full-time on-site and will partner with superintendents, project managers, owners, design teams, and trade partners to ensure milestones and turnover requirements are met.

The ideal candidate has strong CPM scheduling expertise, understands complex MEP systems and commissioning activities, and supports fast-track delivery

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling.
• Strong understanding of data center construction sequencing and project delivery.
• Experience with MEP systems and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the project's master CPM schedule throughout the life of the project.
• Work full-time on-site with the project team to monitor progress, identify risks, and drive schedule performance.
• Develop detailed baseline schedules, milestone schedules, recovery schedules, and what-if analyses.
• Collaborate with project leadership to establish sequencing strategies for structural, architectural, MEP, startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings with project teams, owners, consultants, and trade partners.
• Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master project schedule.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule impacts, delays, constraints, and recovery opportunities.
• Track schedule performance metrics and communicate schedule health to project leadership.
• Assist project teams in developing pull-planning sessions, short‑term look‑ahead schedules, and milestone recovery plans.
• Analyze labor loading, crew productivity, material procurement, long‑lead equipment deliveries, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with MEP coordinators, VDC teams, commissioning agents, and field operations staff.
• Generate schedule fragnet analyses and support time extension requests when necessary.
• Produce executive‑level schedule reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Conduct field walks regularly to verify installation progress and validate schedule updates.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and turnover schedule requirements.
