Job summary

Pogue Construction in Texas is seeking a Data Center Scheduler to develop and maintain CPM schedules for a large-scale mission-critical project. This role is embedded full-time on-site on the data center project and will work closely with superintendents, project managers, owners, design teams, and trade partners to ensure milestones and turnover requirements are achieved.

The ideal candidate possesses strong CPM scheduling expertise and a deep understanding of MEP systems and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience.
• Demonstrated CPM scheduling expertise.
• Experience with mission-critical/data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the project's master CPM schedule.
• Work full-time on-site with the project team to monitor progress and identify risks.
• Develop detailed baseline schedules, milestone schedules, recovery schedules, and what-if analyses.
• Collaborate with project leadership to establish sequencing strategies for structural, architectural, MEP, startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings with project teams, owners, consultants, and trade partners.
• Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master project schedule.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule impacts, delays, constraints, and recovery opportunities.
• Track schedule performance metrics and communicate schedule health to project leadership.
• Assist project teams in developing pull-planning sessions, short-term look-ahead schedules, and milestone recovery plans.
• Analyze labor loading, crew productivity, material procurement, long-lead equipment deliveries, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with MEP coordinators, VDC teams, commissioning agents, and field operations staff.
• Generate schedule fragnet analyses and support time extension requests when necessary.
• Produce executive‑level schedule reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Conduct field walks regularly to verify installation progress and validate schedule updates.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and turnover schedule requirements.
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies before impacts occur.
