Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent to coordinate, plan, and supervise assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities on a data center project in Pampa, TX. Compensation is location- and experience-based with opportunities at levels 1 and 2.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and quality across the project team. On-site deployment and travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management or related experience.
• 8+ years of construction management or related experience.
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedule.
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability, and coordinate with design engineers.
• Develop and manage project schedule, site logistics plan, and collaborate with partner superintendents.
• Coach, supervise, and develop team members and manage meetings and hires.
• Ensure proper task coding, track work progress, and conduct career development discussions.
• Build effective relationships across diverse backgrounds and levels.
• Lead by example with coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance.
