Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for complex projects in the Amarillo area. You will coordinate craft labor, schedules, safety programs, and interface with engineers, project managers and subcontractors to keep the project on track.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction with a strong supervisory background and the ability to travel up to 100%. Mortenson offers a comprehensive benefits package and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in construction-related field or 10 years trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of construction activities and task assignments.
• Interface with other departments to ensure materials, equipment and inspections support the project schedule.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and managing craft labor, equipment, materials, small tools, and consumables.

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or 10 years trade experience
