Job summary

Catapult Federal Services is seeking a Construction Manager / Project Manager for a Data Center Program in Manassas, VA. This on-site, full-time role embeds within a hyperscale data center campus, serving as the on-site lead for field execution and project administration, coordinating contractors and schedules.

You will report to client leadership, manage safety and MOPs, and partner with prime contractors and AWS project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction or project management on mission-critical facilities.
• Experience in data centers, power plants, hospitals, or large industrial sites.
• Ability to manage field execution and administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer-facing communication and formal reporting skills.
• Leadership presence with ownership mentality.
• Proficient with project management software and tech platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction activities within active data center facilities.
• Manage project schedules and milestones across multiple work streams.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, client reps, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as on-site representative for prime contractor partners.
• Maintain relationships with AWS project teams and facility operations staff.
• Review and ensure compliance with Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.
• Identify and mitigate project risks before escalation.
• Monitor safety and quality across all active scopes.
• Own project reporting, status updates, and program documentation.
• Support retrofit and modernization across multiple sites.
