Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer to lead a team of engineers at a large hyperscale campus in Amarillo, TX, ensuring safe operations and 100% uptime. The role requires deep expertise across HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, along with strong leadership and incident response capabilities.

You will oversee training, safety, and operations, drive maintenance programs, and coordinate with planners to sustain critical environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance
• Experience working in Data Centers/Raised Floor Environment
• Ability to obtain EPA 608 certification and licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data center engineers to ensure safe operations and 100% uptime.
• Oversee MOP creation, preventive and corrective maintenance coordination.
• Coordinate with planner scheduler and utilize O&Ms for training curricula.
• Be the first point of contact for service impacting events and assist in RCA.
• Utilize Corrigo (CMMS) for all work performed and maintain work orders.
