Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain inventory accuracy across manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Streetsboro, OH. You will conduct scheduled counts, verify data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and work with Materials and Production teams to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, independent work, and clear communication to ensure ERP reflects physical inventory and supports audits and cycle-count programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math, analysis, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are critical for cycle counts.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with gathering and sharing inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts of raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, units of measure, labels, and locations during counts.
• Investigate discrepancies by reviewing locations, movements, and history; recount as needed.
• Document findings and communicate adjustments or escalation to PMDA.
• Maintain accurate ERP records and support inventory audits and wall-to-wall counts.
• Collaborate with Materials, Production, Receiving, Shipping, and Purchasing to ensure inventory accuracy.
