Job summary

Business Computers Management Consulting Group, LLC (BCMC) is seeking a Cyber Shift Incident Manager to support a U.S. Government customer with on-site incident response, investigation, and restoration activities. The assigned shift is Saturday and Sunday 0600-1830, with additional weekday coverage; on-site only.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, and 5+ years of cyber incident management experience. Certifications such as GCIH/GCFA/GISP/GCED/CISSP are desirable.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Correlate incident data to identify trends in reported incidents.
• Recommend defense in depth principles and practices.
• Perform CND incident triage to determine scope, urgency and impact.
• Research and compile resolution steps to mitigate Cyber Network Defense incidents.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to detection and defense of intrusions.
• Monitor external data sources to stay current on CND threat conditions.
• Identify incident causes and gather background on infection vectors.
• Analyze network alerts and determine probable causes.
• Document CND incidents from detection to final resolution across teams.
• Provide on-site support during assigned shifts.
