Job summary

US Western Area Power Administration seeks an Archeologist to manage cultural resource compliance for construction and maintenance activities. You will coordinate with local, state, and other Federal agencies to support these activities and ensure NHPA/Section 106 compliance.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-9 level or equivalent pay band.
  • Experience conducting archeological surveys, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of NHPA, Section 106, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate with tribes and other agencies on compliance.
