Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an On-Site CSA Engineer for a project near Baton Rouge, LA. This role serves as the on-site representative for civil, structural, and architectural disciplines during construction, coordinating between Owner, Contractor and design teams to resolve issues and align with contract documents.

Requirements include a Civil/Structural/Architecture/construction management degree, 10+ years in large-scale construction or 5+ years in hyperscale data centers, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or related field.
• 10+ years in large-scale construction projects, or 5+ years in hyperscale data centers.
• Strong CSA systems knowledge and construction method experience.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site CSA design and construction lead.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and quality.
• Coordinate CSA design issues across field and design teams.
• Review field conditions and resolve design issues.
• Support RFIs, submittals, substitutions, and inquiries.
• Review installation for conformance to design and specs.
• Prepare weekly site observation reports.
• Support BIM coordination, mockups, and site validation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, commissioning, and Owner reps.
• Identify risks and contribute mitigation planning.
• Establish clear communication and escalation processes.
