Job summary

CraneWorks/RentalWorks is seeking a Crawler Crane Technician to safely assemble, test, and tear down heavy crawler cranes at various job sites across the Southeast. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude and strict safety discipline.

Travel to regional or national locations, perform on-site repairs, and conduct safety inspections while adhering to OSHA/ANSI standards. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in heavy construction and a valid driver's license; a technical degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (technical degree preferred).
• 2+ years in heavy construction or machinery maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Valid Driver's License; OSHA/ANSI crane operation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble crawler crane components safely.
• Rig hoist lines or pendants using hand tools.
• Repair hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical issues on site.
• Perform pre-operational, monthly, and yearly safety inspections.
• Travel to regional or national job locations as required.
