Job summary

Maxim Crane Works LP is seeking a Crawler Technician to direct the assembly or disassembly of scheduled crane movements and ensure safe field operations at customer sites. The role requires adherence to crane regulations, inspection duties, and coordination with regional managers.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of crane assembly/disassembly experience, strong knowledge of lift plans and OSHA rules, and the ability to travel regularly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Associates or vocational degree encouraged.
• Commercial Driver's License preferred.
• NCCCO Certification preferred.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the assembly or disassembly of scheduled crane movements.
• Ensure safe field operations and customer satisfaction on jobsites.
• Complete inspections, lift plans, and job-specific requirements before job commencement.
• Upload On-Rent and Off-Rent inspections and photos per policy.
• Maintain contact with regional managers during assembly or disassembly to coordinate crews and equipment.
• Assist with inventory of attachments and components; verify load lists and locate crane components.
