Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, LP seeks a Crawler Technician to direct the assembly or disassembly of scheduled crane movements and ensure safe field operations and customer satisfaction at job sites.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years’ experience with lattice boom crawler cranes, strong knowledge of OSHA rules, and the ability to read lift plans and rigging drawings. Willingness to travel and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience assembling and disassembling lattice boom crawler cranes and tele-crawlers from major manufacturers
• Ability to read and follow lift plans and rigging drawings
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety procedures
• Experience inspecting and overseeing crane components and assemblies

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply regulations in Cranes and Derricks in Construction 29 CFR 1926.1403-1926.1406 and 192.1412
• Complete On-Rent and Off-Rent Inspections and lift plans to customer requirements
• Upload Inspections and photos to One-Drive per policy
• Coordinate with regional managers and branch personnel during assembly/disassembly
• Assist with inventory of attachments and components
• Travel regularly and work weekends as required
• Pass drug test, background check, and fit-for-duty tests
