Qualifications

• 1+ years working as a Court Reporter.
• Must have prior experience and equipment; no training provided.
• Excellent English language skills and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Takes down the proceeding using Machine Shorthand, Voice, or Digital capture.
• Capture verbatim proceedings of courts, meetings, depositions, and hearings.
• Administer oaths and participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Transport, set up, and operate equipment to capture the record accurately.
• Perform advance preparation for assignments, including building job worksheets and reviewing case information.
• Ensure exhibits are secured, backups created, and worksheets uploaded at close of proceeding.
• Maintain reports and logs and respond promptly to communications.
• Represent NRGCO professionally in all proceedings and interactions.
• Interact with high-level clients (Federal Govt, State Govt, Private Industry).
