Job summary

Motion is seeking Conveyor Belt Technicians to perform on-site belt installation and preventative maintenance at customer locations and shop sites. You will diagnose problems, repair belt systems, and work with powered or manual tools while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of belt-line experience, and MSHA certification is highly preferred. Training is provided, with opportunities to work in varied environments and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical degree with 0–3 years of related experience.
• MSHA Experienced Miner Surface AND Underground certification highly preferred.
• Forklift/telehandler certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site belt installation and preventative maintenance, including call outs for emergency repairs.
• Repair conveyor belt using methods such as vulcanizing and cutting edge splicing techniques.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine work procedures and ensure safety compliance.
