Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking an External Automation Engineer based in Thousand Oaks, CA to augment our MCS F&E Automation team. This role focuses on updating, maintaining, and improving DeltaV automation systems and providing critical site support for ongoing biological processes.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in automation design, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration within GMP biopharma environments, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Computer, Chemical or Biotech Engineering required.
• Experience with manufacturing process controls and automation lifecycle management.
• Hands-on process control design and troubleshooting for GMP biopharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of DeltaV systems and cross-functional team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Update, maintain, and improve DeltaV automation systems.
• Provide critical site support for ongoing biological processes.
• Design and implement process control strategies for technology deployment.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff; drive operational excellence.
