Job summary

C2NC seeks a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and finance for its RNG facility in Warsaw, NC. Reporting to the CEO, you will manage the general ledger, close processes, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and controls while partnering with operations and lenders.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with a PEO for HR, and ensure audit, tax, and compliance readiness as the platform expands nationwide.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and audit support.
Hands-on leadership experience in a growth-stage environment.
Ability to translate operational activity into clear financial reporting and insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration with executives, vendors, lenders, and investors.

Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, close processes, AP/AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
Oversee financial reporting, statements, variance analyses, and plant‑level metrics.
Own cash forecasting, working capital planning, and vendor payment timing.
Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasts with leadership and operations.
Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies; support audits and tax work.
Coordinate intercompany accounting, debt compliance, and lender/investor reporting.
Manage accounting staff and outsourced resources; scale finance with growth.
Coordinate HR administration and benefits with the PEO.
