Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Controller CPA – Operations Accounting to lead the organization’s accounting operations, reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial processes in a fast-paced environment.

Based in Tamarac, Florida, this on-site role requires strategic, hands-on leadership, strong GAAP expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements, close management, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Treasury, Tax

Qualifications

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure policy adherence.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and SOX framework.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax and other cross-functional teams.
• Support system integrations, acquisitions, and changes in accounting processes.
