Job summary

WSU Tech is seeking a Construction industry trainer to deliver hands-on, industry-aligned training on-site at a partner facility in Wichita. The 8-week modular program covers safety, framing basics, squaring, plumbing walls, window and siding installation, with instruction aligned to modular manufacturing standards and focus on layout accuracy and structural integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10-hour required.
• NCCER Core or NCCER Craft Instructor certification preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on industry experience in residential construction, modular construction, or carpentry.
• Experience training, mentoring, or supervising crews or apprentices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on curriculum in sequence.
