Job summary

Lone Mountain Land Company in Big Sky, MT seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead daily field operations from pre-construction through completion. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, enforce safety standards, and ensure work meets plans, specs and quality expectations.

You will mentor field staff, collaborate with project management, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep projects on time and within budget across Southwest Montana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience managing projects >$5,000,000.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• OSHA 30 certified or able to become certified prior to commencing work.
• Telehandler certification or able to obtain prior to starting work.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, specs, and building codes.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on assigned projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site activities to keep schedules on track.
• Monitor progress and resolve field issues and delays.
• Ensure work aligns with plans, specs, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Create and maintain accurate project schedules for timely completion.
• Communicate schedule impacts, change orders, and conflicts to stakeholders.
• Mentor field staff and collaborate with project managers.
