Job summary

Make Choteau Home in Montana seeks a Superintendent to manage the entire construction site, overseeing residential, commercial, and industrial locations under the Project Manager and VP of the building division.

This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and timely progress. Strong blueprint reading, OSHA knowledge, and effective communication are essential for coordinating with Owners and Subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction supervision/Foreman roles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and construction safety.
• Strong math and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills across teams.
• Ability to teach others on site.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Must provide own basic hand tools; employer-provided specialty tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan site requirements and order materials.
• Track site production daily/weekly.
• Supervise and guide Foreman and crew.
• Maintain excellent customer relations with Owner and subs.
• Oversee quality control and productivity.
• Organize paperwork: reports, receipts, tickets.
• Coordinate with Foreman on updates and progress.
• May perform carpentry tasks as needed.
• Keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Assist with demolition as needed.
