Job summary

HauglandGroup seeks an experienced Construction Project Scheduler to join our team in St. Thomas, VI. The role maintains and updates the project schedule, coordinates field activities, and analyzes delays and resource impacts to keep the project on track.

You will develop weekly look-ahead schedules, monitor procurement and long-lead items, and support leadership with status reporting and earned value discussions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of project scheduling experience.
• Reading construction drawings and sequencing.
• Island construction logistics knowledge and FEMA/WAPA/VIPA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Primavera P6 project schedules with site updates and progress meetings.
• Create detailed 4-week look-ahead schedules for field planning and subcontractor coordination.
• Conduct critical path analysis for delays, weather, and resource constraints.
• Monitor procurement, deliveries, and long-lead items to avoid disruptions.
• Forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs and prepare resource reports.
• Prepare monthly schedule updates and narratives on progress and earned value.
• Review subcontractor updates for alignment with the master schedule and progress for billing.
