Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Safety Manager for on-site commercial construction projects in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on delivering a proactive safety culture across active jobsites, coordinating with project leadership, field teams and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include inspections, site-specific safety plans, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and safety training. Travel between sites and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

Construction safety management experience.
Commercial construction experience.
OSHA 30 certification.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance.
Ability to travel between active project sites.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits.
Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.
Lead toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
Investigate accidents and incidents and determine root causes.
Coordinate safety efforts with project managers, superintendents and subcontractors.
Maintain safety documentation and reporting.
