Job summary

Boots to Boardroom Recruiting, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Safety Manager for client-site leadership in the construction sector. This senior on-site role focuses on leading the project safety program, ensuring OSHA compliance, and aligning with owner and client standards.

The position is a full-time W2 assignment with guaranteed 60-hour weeks on assignment and travel or relocation as needed. PTO, sick leave, and comprehensive health benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S plus a minimum of three years in construction safety management
• Nationally recognized safety credential (CSP/CIH/ASP/CHST/CRSP) plus five years’ experience
• Strong field leadership and OSHA-compliance knowledge

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project Safety Manager for the assigned jobsite with client-designated title
• Lead and support the project safety program and field safety efforts as directed by the client
• Maintain a strong, consistent presence in the field
• Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, hazards, and project risks
• Conduct jobsite safety audits, inspections, and observations
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and project safety communications
• Coordinate incident investigations and drive corrective actions with client authorization
• Monitor contractor compliance with project safety requirements
• Prepare and communicate safety reports, trends, findings and recommendations
• Ensure OSHA regulations and client standards are met across the project
