Job summary

ERM is hiring a Construction Safety Site Supervisor in Allentown, PA to provide on-site support for our key manufacturing client. This full-time, 1-year limited-term role requires leading a safety team, enforcing health and safety standards, and ensuring compliance with regulations during heavy equipment installation.

You will conduct inspections, train workers, manage PPE, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

7+ years of construction experience with heavy equipment and supervisory roles.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred; certifications essential.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926) and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee all safety aspects of construction site during heavy equipment installation.
Develop, implement and enforce site-specific safety plans, programs and procedures.
Conduct inspections and risk assessments; ensure regulatory compliance and proper recordkeeping.
Provide safety training and orientation; lead toolbox talks and incident investigations.
Manage equipment safety; ensure PPE use and safe work practices.
Document, investigate and report incidents and near-misses; drive corrective actions.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and inspectors to promote safety culture.
Identify emergency scenarios and develop/drill response plans.
