Job summary

Epcon is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to serve as the on-site safety lead for a large-scale construction project. You will ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with client, federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an EHS or related field is required.
• Certifications such as CSP/ASP/CHST/OHST or IOSH are preferred.
• Experience enforcing safety programs on large construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety programs and applicable regulations on site.
• Conduct daily field inspections, identify hazards, track corrective actions.
• Lead or support safety orientations, toolbox talks, and meetings.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and coach crews.
