Job summary

BB&E seeks a dynamic Construction Engineering Technician to support NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic projects at MCAS Cherry Point in Havelock, NC. You will ensure QA/QC, safety oversight, and coordination with contractors under the AAS contract while advancing facilities design and construction activities on-site.

The role requires strong field experience in quality control, safety management, and coordination with Navy and government teams to keep projects on schedule and compliant with regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Quality Control Manager on NAVFAC/USACE projects or 10 years as a foreman in related trades.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain CAC/NACI clearance.
• Strong knowledge of construction QA/QC processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction quality management across assigned NAVFAC/USACE projects.
• Review contractor QC plans and witness QC activities and tests.
• Lead site safety reviews, AHAs, crane plans, and safety stand-downs.
• Ensure environmental compliance and proper documentation for invoicing and closeout.
• Facilitate coordination between contractors, NAVFAC, and government teams to maintain schedule.
