Job summary

Beckenhauer Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager who takes ownership from planning through completion. You will lead crews and subcontractors, enforce standards, manage contracts, and resolve issues quickly to keep projects on schedule and budget.

Responsibilities include pre-construction leadership, schedule and cost management, documentation control, safety and quality oversight, and a structured closeout process.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Proficiency with project management and documentation tools is preferred (Word, Excel, P6, Procore, iAuditor, Bluebeam).
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications, and contracts; familiarity with billing procedures and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction activities, coordinating permits, insurance, and setup for a successful start.
• Build and manage project schedule, control costs, and forecast financial outcomes.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, changes, and pay applications with clear communication among stakeholders.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regular field presence; lead owner and subcontractor meetings.
• Guide projects through closeout with punch lists, inspections, and turnover.
