Job summary

Beckenhauer Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager who takes ownership from planning through completion, leads crews and subcontractors, enforces standards, and resolves issues with speed and accuracy on site in Nebraska. This role demands sharp prioritization, discipline, and a firm but fair approach to safety, quality, and compliance.

You will manage pre-construction input, schedules, budgets, submittals, and closeout, while coordinating with owners, architects, and accounting

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, P6, Procore, iAuditor and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with owner contracts and subcontract agreements, including scope, terms, responsibilities, and compliance requirements.
• Strong administrative skills in billing procedures, submittals, changes in the scope of work, claim/notification provisions/procedures, insurance, etc.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and physical presence at assigned workplace.

Responsibilities

• Pre-construction leadership:Review designs and support estimating efforts, coordinate permits, insurance, and system setup for a strong project start.
• Schedule & cost management:Build and manage project schedules, monitor costs, projections, and progress to keep the project on track.
• Documentation control:Oversee submittals, RFIs, changes, pay apps, and ensure accurate, compliant communication between all parties.
• Quality, safety & communication:Maintain field presence to support quality, reinforce safety, and lead owner/subcontractor meetings.
• Project closeout:Coordinate punch lists, inspections, turn over, and final financials to deliver a complete project.
