Job summary

Southern Impression Homes is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the sales team with marketing and business development activities in Florida. The role integrates construction knowledge with client-facing responsibilities and requires coordinating with vendors and subcontractors on multiple projects.

You will help ensure timely closings, maintain site safety standards, and communicate project status to clients and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years residential building experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or completion of another post-secondary program in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and safety policies.
• Extensive knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control for homes.
• Able to read blueprints and communicate information precisely.
• Experience with project management software.
• Able to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of customer satisfaction principles.
• Willingness to work >40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and inspect activities of subcontractors and vendors.
• Hold subcontractors and vendors accountable for complete work per CKF Construction standards.
• Stage punch and walk with ownership for final acceptance of each house.
• Walk and inspect construction sites at least twice daily to ensure deadlines.
• Schedule required inspections and liaise with inspectors and ownership.
• On-site liaison with client and ensure homes are complete before final buyer walks.
• Maintain knowledge of status of each home and produce weekly client reports.
• Ensure homes are completed by scheduled closing date.
• Maintain construction best practices on job sites.
• Identify material needs and verify delivery to sites.
• Communicate and manage expectations with ownership; may have weekly calls.
• Analyze problems and report solutions to management.
• Facilitate onsite team to resolve issues.
