Job summary

Gleason Construction, Inc., a family-owned general contractor based in Devils Lake, North Dakota, seeks a Construction Project Manager for a full-time on-site role. You will oversee commercial projects from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include developing schedules and budgets, reviewing plans, assisting with estimating and bids, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organization and scheduling skills.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.
• Experience with Bluebeam and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and overall strategies.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Review plans to identify scope, conflicts, and risks.
• Assist with estimating, bids, and subcontractor vetting.
• Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, and material procurement.
• Track costs, forecasts, and profitability; maintain records and reports.
• Lead coordination meetings among owners, architects, and subs.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and field documentation.
• Ensure safety and quality on site and drive timely closeout.
