Job summary

Jobot, a general contractor, seeks an experienced Construction Manager in Fargo to lead on-site project activities and coordinate with field teams, PMs, and clients.

This role will evolve into the General Manager for Fargo operations; candidates should have 5–25 years of commercial construction leadership, with Procore/Bluebeam experience, and a bachelor’s in CM/Engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a focus on interior buildouts, renovations, or ground-up work.
• Proven track record of successfully managing field operations from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and site coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site project activities to ensure construction is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams, subcontractors, project managers, and clients.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and inspections to maintain project flow.
• Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize delays or cost impacts.
• Conduct regular site meetings and maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the project management team to manage change orders, budgets, and timelines.
• Ensure site safety standards are upheld and lead by example to promote a strong safety culture.
