Job summary

Armand Corporation seeks an on-site Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion across varied stages of development.

The role requires a Baccalaureate Degree, at least five years in construction/design with two years in K-12 project management, and a valid New York driver’s license. Responsibilities include coordinating design and construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance, and expediting schedules under senior PM guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of full-time, progressively responsible work as a technical specialist in construction/design fields, with two years managing all phases of K-12 construction work.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and coordination for design and construction of complex projects under senior PM guidance.
• Ensure quality and compliance of design and construction by consultants and vendors.
• Make timely decisions to expedite construction progress and prevent design/construction mistakes from propagating.
• Coordinate problem solving and managerial tasks across projects.
• Interface with contractors, construction managers, local staff, and senior PMs on project issues.
• Participate in developing project procedures and policies; review and recommend improvements.
• Guide and advise lower level Project Managers.
• Review field reports and advise on appropriate action; prepare contract documentation for claims adjudication.
