Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Intern/Co-Op to work on an active construction project site in Nashville, TN. You will be supervised and gain hands-on experience in project coordination, documentation control, and reporting.

Responsibilities include supporting the project team, reviewing submittals and RFIs, assisting with start-up activities, and learning through site visits and daily tasks. This role emphasizes safety, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and actively pursuing a college or university degree or in a Co-op program.
• Desire to work in construction management and to learn about the construction industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and overtime as determined by assignment.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills including leadership or volunteerism.
• Professional and clear verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
• Assist with start-up activities and provide support to Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Assist with collection and review of information for submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
• Assist with preparation of estimates for changes in work from subcontractors.
• Attend site visits to observe and document construction activities.
