You will collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement tracking, and project documentation, ensuring efficient scheduling and cost control.

The role emphasizes field coordination, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with opportunities for growth within a long-standing Bay Area contractor.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant project experience in construction.
• Degree in Construction Management, civil/ mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.
• Organized with a systematic approach to achieve high level results.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage diverse personalities.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices (LEED, QSP, SWPPP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage submittal process.
• Manage and process RFIs.
• PO/CO development and change order management.
• Subcontract management.
• Project document control.
• Develop and manage procurement tracking log.
• Support project startup.
• Assist superintendent in weekly look-ahead scheduling.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
• Manage project closeout including punchlist, O&Ms, warranties.
