Superior is seeking a Project Accountant to manage and support the financial and billing functions for our active construction projects. The role partners with Project Operations and Finance, maintains timely invoicing, and ensures project finances are tracked with discipline.

This position is based on a jobsite in Detroit, Michigan. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in billing or project accounting, familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheets, and a bachelor's degree in accounting or

Qualifications

• 1 year of billing, project accounting, or finance experience.
• Familiar with accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Construction Systems Management, Finance, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform billing functions for construction projects.
• Maintain timely invoicing processes and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Operations and Finance teams to keep monthly billing accurate.
• Resolve discrepancies with project operations and accounting teams.
• Analyze project costs to ensure accuracy and control.
• Provide on-site support at the jobsite and deliver customer service to cross-functional partners.
• Support customer audits.
