Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager / Construction Manager to be based in Los Angeles, CA. Our Program Management team delivers complex programs across infrastructure, transportation, energy, water and urban development with a focus on innovation and excellence.

The role requires coordinating schedules, cost control, change management, and contract administration while leading staff and interfacing with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency
• Seven years managing facilities design or capital projects including design, contract administration, cost estimating, scheduling
• Experience with general construction management work for public works projects
• In-field management of General Contractors

Responsibilities

• Resolves complex construction project issues and disputes
• Reviews schedules and progress against construction plans
• Reviews change orders and assesses impact on cost and schedule
• Assists Client management with bid and contract planning
• Manages project cost control and fiscal management across multiple projects
• Coordinates program activities with other Client departments and offices
• Provides direction over schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, and QA
• Oversees contract administration and coordination with A/E consultants
• Manages staff and project reporting
