Job summary

Harris Company is seeking a Construction Project Manager Intern for Summer 2027 in Brook Park, Ohio. This on-site internship offers hands-on experience across the entire project lifecycle—from pre-job estimating and setup to during-construction activities and closeout.

You will work with a team to learn how projects are planned, executed and documented. Ideal candidates are pursuing Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management degrees, with strong math, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in construction project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Demonstrated math and analytical skills; good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating, job setup, contracts, permits and insurance certificates.
• Support safety, purchasing, submittals, materials and equipment tracking, productivity tracking, change orders and RFIs.
• Participate in project closeout, O&M manuals, as-record drawings and warranties.
