Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or remodeling/renovation.
• Ability to read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Must be able to travel and rent a car.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Responds to, and completes work.
• Works and coordinates all on-site project work.
• Performs job walks and maintains quality control procedures.
• Assist projects leadership in project schedule, work scopes, and on site activities.
• Save and archive documents and plans.
• Effectively works with other employees, vendors, and sub-contractors.
• Ensure quality of work and safety guidelines.
• Promptly reporting any on-site accidents involving staff and/or sub-contractors.
• Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.
• Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.
• Assesses safety and finance goals.
• Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.
• Meets operational standards by contributing construction and facility information to strategic plans and reviews.
• Meets construction and facility budget by monitoring project expenditures.
• Accomplishes construction and facility project results by defining project purpose and scope.
• Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• Must have a regular work attendance / good work attendance habits.
• Have a good work ethic and availability to work.
• Performs other assignments as assigned by management.
