Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate the work of all Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite to meet time and budget goals.

You will administer safety, manage subcontractors, track CPM schedules, understand the project budgets, and read blueprints to direct field staff. The role requires leadership, decision-making, and the ability to stay calm under pressure on a live construction site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random and post-accident testing.
• Union-required training programs or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Valid documentation.
• Show leadership skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions.
• Remain calm during stressful situations and seek help when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on site.
• Administer project safety per Ryan policies and develop site Job Safety/Hazard Analysis.
• Manage subcontractors performing their work.
• Develop and track CPM schedule and budget within your scope.
• Read blueprints and specifications to direct project personnel.
• Assist with material procurement.
• Work independently and efficiently.
• Enforce site Safety Manual and engage in quality control.
