Job summary

Engtal is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects on-site, overseeing safety, quality, and schedule while interfacing with design teams, owners, and subcontractors. The role emphasizes strong leadership, proactive planning, and effective communication to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a superintendent role, OSHA-30 certification, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Outbuild, Excel, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Superintendent role on commercial projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction safety, planning, scheduling, and sequencing.
• Proven leadership, communication, initiative, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to independently manage diverse projects (public, warehouse, tenant improvements, etc.).
• Procore, MS Project, Outbuild, Excel, and Bluebeam proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage project safety, quality, and schedule from kickoff through closeout.
• Ensure company safety and quality standards are followed by the team.
• Mentor and develop team members while effectively managing projects.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, project team, and subcontractors.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and GC interfaces.
• Lead project setup, site logistics, field coordination, and scheduling.
• Review documents for constructability and shop drawings.
• Maintain project records (RFIs, ASIs, as-builts).
• Supervise subcontractors and client contractors.
• Develop and enforce site safety plans and conduct inspections.
• Lead safety, pre-task, high-hazard, and OAC meetings.
• Utilize project management software effectively.
• Independently manage projects with minimal support.
